Japanese word of the day
こんばんは!
Today’s word is ‘Don’t Worry.’
On lots of language sites they translate this as
‘ご心配なく’(ごしんぱいなく/goshinpai naku)
But although this is correct technically, if you use this phrase to a Japanese person it can sound rude.
A better way of saying this phrase is:
心配しないで(しんぱいしないで/shinpai shinai de) (used with friends)
Or add ください(Kudasai) on the end to make it sound more polite.
がんばってね!
